Polyhydramnios

Hey Ladies, I have never posted anything on here before but I love to read what you girls talk about. Now I have a question. I am 36 wks and yesterday at my appt. my doctor told me that I have polyhydramnios. I was wondering if there was anyone else out there with the same problem and if you knew any reasons to what would cause this or what your doctor is doing about it.

I have it. I found out at 27wks. At that time they were talking about maybe having to drain some of the liquid When i went back for my second u/s the fluid had gone down some on its own. I was told it can be cause by GD or it can mean there's problems with the baby witch is rare. Curing the u/s they could find no problems and I passed my GD test. 50% of the time there is no none reason. I think it about 70% of woman that get it have boys.

I had a serious case of it and had to have an amnio to reduce a liter of fluid.  Check out my blog for the whole story and page me if you have any questions.  We never found anything wrong with the baby after tons of testing!  Good luck1
