I tried looking on Delta's website but I couldn't find the info I was looking for. Do I need to carry a birth certificate for Allie when we fly to Dallas in two weeks? DH is flying with us if that makes a difference.
Also, do I need to let the airline know ahead of time that I will be traveling with an infant in arms or can I just tell them when I check in?
Re: Flying with an infant
I booked a flight and I listed her as an infant in arms when I purchased the ticket.
I'm not sure about bring her birth certificate. We aren't traveling until August.
We have flown twice with DD and you don't need a birth certificate but you do need to make sure they have it noted on one of your tickets that you are traveling with an infant in your arms because some rows you can't sit in with an infant. They didn't note that last time on our ticket and we got up to security and they made us go back through ticketing to change it. It was so annoying!
