Full names with the nickname Ellie

I like the nickname Ellie, but I want our DD to have a longer more "grown up" name for when she is older.  The only name I can come up with is Elanore and I don't really like that. 

Any other suggestions?

My 8yr old cousin is Elisabeth and she's been Ellie since she was a baby. Now that she is 8 she's decided she wants an "older" sounding nickname.

Not sure what her parents will do.

Its kind of long and big but I have a friend who wanted to name her little girl Ellington (Her maiden name) and call her Elle or Ellie.

Or Elise.

One of my favorite girl names is Ellis... I think technically its a boys name but I actually heard it on Gray's Anatomy (Meredith's mom).  I know the "Gray's" trends are out of control but I really like this one...

Ha ha - seriously?  I didn't know it was becoming a girl's name.  Ellis is right near the top of our boy's list.  I guess my "taking it back" post above might be more relevant than I thought!
