We have a pedi appointment tomorrow but I thought I'd also check here.
DD is just starting to get over Rotavirus - poor kid had that nasty virus incubating when she got her 4 month shots and that led to a scary and not so fun week of dealing with our very first hard core virus, massive amounts of rank diarrhea and temperatures from freezing cold to burning hot and back again.
On the Saturday (the day the virus hit her the hardest), her hands and feet went purple and she was lethargic. We called TeleHealth and with some bundling and breastfeeding, her hands and feet were back to regular temperature, but now I'm constantly checking her hands and feet for colour.
Sometimes after a nap, when I lay her on the change table, her hands (not feet this time) get a little bit tinted purpley/blue (but still mostly the natural colour). She seems fine, in great spirits, but her hands are a little cool to the touch. Technically the virus isn't out of her system (takes 3-10 days), so do you think this is due to the fact that she's still fighting something, or maybe it's just generally poor circulation?
Anyone else's LO?
