Fetal doppler rental

Can you recommend your company? How did the rental work? How long are you renting for?

TIA

Re: Fetal doppler rental

  • I bought the baby sounds fetal doppler for $50 on ebay.  It works great now that I figured out not to put gel directly on it (even though it says to) and put it on my stomach.

It has a digital HB monitor as well.

  • We rent from Babybeats. I love our doppler because it has a digital reader to tell you beats/min.  It is fairly inexpensive (about $25/month)...
someecards.com - I support Newt Gingrich's idea of colonizing the moon if it'll help me get away from Newt Gingrich.

  • I too have the baby sounds from ebay as well .. and I second that it works great

  • We rented from Stork Radio.  Our friends recommended them.  They've been great to work with (free shipping both ways too).  We rented for two months, which should get us to our next ultrasound where we can see the baby and where I should be already starting to feel the baby kick so will have that confirmation.  If I decide to keep it longer, they just bill me at a month-to-month rate.

Go to Google and type in "fetal doppler rental" and a ton of companies will come up.  Find out their prices, which fetal dopplers they have, what their shipping rate is (if any).  Most places have deals (buy 2 months, get one free or prepay two months and get a cheaper rate, which is what we did).  Good luck!

  • Renting is usually more expensive than buying one for $30-$60 on eBay. I got a Contec one, and it works awesome!
