Okay so for the past few weeks I just haven't felt right. My joins are in extreme pain. My hips, knees, ankles, and all over just ache and hurt especially when I move. I have been nauseated all day long. I have also had a low-grade fever. Someone told me it might be my Mirena. Has anyone else hear this? I have a call in to the ob so hopefully they will call back soon. I almost hope it is the Mirena and not something more serious. Yikes.

not sure about the fever part, but someone in my mom's group was asking about joint pain post partum and according to the LC, it is very common to have increased joint pain in the months after delivering. not sure the exact cause, but i suspect hormones have something to do with it.
either way, i hope you feel better and get some real answers!
Yep... it sure could be the Mirena. ?I'm getting my IUD inserted my next cycle but I opted for the Paragard. ?When I did my research when comparing both, I did see what you're describing as a side effect of the hormonal IUD which is one of the reasons I went with the non-hormonal.
I'm sure that's what it is!! ?Don't be too worried Mama! ?Most women would have it removed and they would almost immediately feel better. ?Keep us updated okay?
