Re: sugar free red bulls?

  • no! don't drink anything sugar free! They have artificial sweenters and this is NOT good for baby at all!

  • Everything in moderation.  Personally I think Red Bull is kind of disgusting and would go for an iced coffee or something...

Artificial Sweetners are fine!!! My doctor said they are fine, in moderation. My doc. makes me stay away from everything and this she said is fine. She referred to some rat study, where they tested a bunch of preg. rats and gave them tons of artificial sweetner and nothing was wrong with their babies! So having one or two sugar free red bulls is not going to hurt (unless it has the caffeine in it).

I just wouldn't risk it. I think it is worth it to be cautious when there is someone growing inside of you!  jmo!

  • I'd be more concerned with the Taurine and cr*p that's in Red Bull than the artificial sweeteners.

  • Theres loads of caffine and taurine and guarana... the sugar is the lesser of all the evils.

ditto this. although i think the caffeine in Red Bull is within your daily allowance, it's the guarana and the taurine that would concern me. i'd stick to plain old coffee - at least you know what's really in it.

This.  I guess that I'm an organic girl anyway, but you could get a coffee with ingredients that you recognize that would be far better than a Red Bull that might not be a problem.

Not to mention that my Doctor is very relaxed, but artificial sweetners were on his list of no-nos.... it also says to limit to WTEWYE.
