I'll be there this weekend and looking for things to do and places to eat.  Will have a 1yr old with us.

We're staying at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak.

I actually work across the street from there. It is a very nice resort where even just spending time at the pool would be fun. I know they have a waterslide and I believe a zero depth kiddie area that you might take your 1 yr. old to splash around in. There is the Phoenix Zoo that I took my niece to when she was about 7 months old and she seemed to enjoy it. We took her again when she was 19 months and she loved it even more! There is a really good mexican restaurant you can bring kids to located in walking distance from where you are staying. Its called Aunt Chiladas and I'm sure if you ask anyone in the area they will point you right toward it.
