Giant waterslide at Costco???

My girlfriend told me she saw a giant backyard waterslide at Costco for like $700.  I went online and couldn't find one in that price range.  We're renting one for ds's 3rd birthday party next month and I would consider buying one (good quality) if it's similar.  We would get more than our money's worth considering it costs $200 just to rent one for the day.  Has anyone seen this at Costco or know of someone who has purchased it?

  • I saw it and it looked huge and tons of fun.  Not sure of the price though. Maybe call them?

  • YES! We were there last week and DD kept asking me to go on it! lol- It was suspended from the ceiling! ;) But it looked like fun and while it is not something we would get here in VT, I could see buying it especially if it costs that much to rent for one day!

  • I think I'm gonna have to venture over there tomorrow and see it for myself.
  • We got one on clearance at Walmart at the end of summer last year (we'll be giving it to our son for his bday next week). It was orig. $500 or $600 and we got it for $250!!

The only thing I know about them is that the Bansai has poor reviews (not sure which one Costco has). I forget what brand ours is (maybe Fisher Price?). It was one of the top rated ones. My recommendation would be to look online for reviews before purchasing anything. No point in spending a few hundred bucks to have a poor products. I heard that the Bansai gets hot in the sun and gets "soft" and doesn't hold weight very well. Of course they could have made upgrades to newer models, but it's always best to check online reviews from people who have the same item.

  • They have it blown up at my Costco. Guess you'll have to head to my side of town Devil
