I want a baby bump

I know every pregnancy is different and so is everyone?s body, but I soooo can?t wait till I get a bump.  I?m super excited to meet our baby, but still don?t ?look? pregnant.

 

When did you guys get your bump?

I think I was showing (to the outside world) around week 18-19, but obviously friends and family noticed a bump sooner than that.?

Then you'll get it and realize that it becomes uncomfortable to put on sox and get stuff out of the bottom drawers in the kitchen... I wanted one so bad, and I love it, but I miss being able to do normal things... ::sigh:: 20 more weeks...

I'm a "thick" girl and have resigned myself to the fact that I will never have one of those cute low bumps. My bump seemed to really grow between 14 and 16 weeks right below my boobies - I skipped the "below the belly button" stage

16 weeks was when people noticed it if I was wearing a form fitting shirt. 

I am 5'2" and short waisted.  I know that having my body type doesn't always mean you will show sooner than later, but it did for me.

mine around 20 weeks.   you can see my blog for photos...but you can borrow mine for a hour so I can take a nap on my stomach!

I'm starting to notice one. I can feel the top of my uterus, about half way between my belly button and pubic bone, so I know that it is actually a bump, not just bloat.

(and I know it's my uterus, because after I "O" it gets rock hard)

Mine jumped out right at 15w2d, thought this was a bit early until I saw a pic of myself and said "Good Lord, I'm pg!" it all became much more real then!

14wks.. I'm only 5'2" and very short waisted.. no where to go but out.

I've found now though that ppl love to comment on how big I look when they ask when I'm due... it's annoying.

My bump popped at 18 weeks where people were noticing. Then it got bigger on week 21, seems like overnight. Now it gets bigger every day it seems like.?

Plus when ever dh and ?I admire it at night in the mirror the baby is stretched from cervix to ribs which makes it biggger

22 weeks, I think the bump is showing to people now.  Still not sure though.

I could still get into regular jeans (well, most of them!) at 13-14 weeks, and that was all over by 16 weeks. Get a couple of empire-waist shirts to accentuate what you do have!

It seems more obvious around 20-21 weeks for me. Right now I can barely breathe because my belly is now up to my breast line and my bra is so darn tight. I think I'm done with these pre-pg bras now. Oh joy, shopping for bras is going to be the effing highlight of my experience.

I'm going to say around 14wks for me. ?I did have a small bump 13 weeks, but was still able to hide it well. I'm almost 5'1", so I think that's why it showed so early. ?However, strangers started noticing around 18-19wks.

I noticed around 18 weeks. People in my office who did not know just started noticing this week.

I know it's get one eventually but I am not holding my breath, I have resigned myself to just looking fat for a month or two more. I am kinda hoping I pop while my husband does is annual training in the beginning of June, that way I can surprise him.

I started looking more pg and less bloated at 15 weeks.  But, I still think that no stranger would ask when I'm due because it also looks like a round beer belly.

I have a small gut bump, belly button hasnt popped and it's only noticeable if I wear a tight shirt around people that actually know I'm pregnant.

I finally had something at around 18 weeks but it was way more noticeable around 20-22 weeks...but I have  twins and measure 5 weeks ahead, so if I was pregnant with a singleon, it would have taken me until week 25-27 to get a bump!

Around 20/21 weeks is when people started to really notice. I got a comment from a stranger around then asking my due date!

My belly really popped last week. Everyone notices now I wish it would came a little later I don't?like?strangers petting my belly. One way to tell if its a bump is if its still there when you lay down.

I am still waiting for mine. I am a plus-sized woman prior to pregnancy and so therefore it can take a while longer for my bump to show. But as of right now I am still waiting.

I'm 26 weeks and depending on what I wear, you might just think I was fat, not pregnant.

BTW, my neighbor at 9 months looks like the most uncomfortable person in the world, so just be careful what you wish for.

Yeah, everyone's different ... I thought since I'm tall and of normal weight that it would take me longer, but mine showed up around week 15/16, and I seem to have "popped" a bit this week. I'm in a maternity shirt for the first time today actually.

Hopefully you only have to wait a few more weeks! I wasn't showing yet at 13 weeks either ... that's a bit early for your first!
