Is a diaper rash a teething side effect?

DD cut two teeth in the past 3 days. She's eating a few new things, but nothing that should cause a diaper rash...I think. I am just wondering if there is any connection, since she doesn't get diaper rashes at all. The odd thing is that isn't not just the bum, it's the peepee (technical term) too. She'll been bathed and ButtPasted....but I want to know what's causing it.

the excess drool makes ds poop very runny...and that results in him getting a little rash.  my friends son gets a yeast infection when he cuts teeth...pedi said that was normal as well.

Could be a yeast infection, you can try Lotramin, if reg diaper cream doesnt help. Make sure the cream has 40% zinc oxide the rash will clear right up with that, if it doesnt then its prob a yeast infection which then you can try the Lotamin and give it 3 days to clear up before going in.
