Massage induction?

Hi ladies....I'm getting a prenatal massage this Saturday and she said there are points on my body she can massage to induce labor...I checked with my Dr. today to make sure it was okay and she said "anything goes at this point!". I'm 1 cm dilated and my cervix is soft as of today....its a full moon on Saturday so I'm hoping it may get things moving! I won't hold my breath though....have any of you ever heard of this?

If your dr gave the ok then I'd let the therapist do it! I'm a massage therapist and there are points on the feet ect that can be stimulated. THIS METHOD WORKS! I did it for my lil sister who was over due. GL ::sprinkles labor dust::

I heard this too!  From the lady who does my pedicures, she is also massotherapist and avoids the points when giving massages.  I asked her to pay attention to those points on 06/20 and greater.  LOL

My best friend is a massage therapist and says that there are reflexology methods and other pressure points in your ankles/feet that can induce labor in late pg.  GL!!!

I am also going for a massage on Friday, the massuse did say that massages can help bring about labor...so lets hope
