Serious question: Can I eat liverwurst/pate?

I've been really wanting a liverwurst (deli sliced) and onion sandwich, but I've found conflicting information about whether liverwurst is ok. Some things said no, and others said it's ok in moderation. Again, I own a deli and that's the only liverwurst I would eat, so I know how it's been handled and everything else.

I plan on asking my doctor next week, but thought I'd run it past you guys.

I think it is ok in moderation.  Liverwurst and Pate are both cooked correct for some reason I remember hearing that Pate was cooked in a water bath.  I could be wrong though.

I did! Liver is REALLY good for you during pregnancy, and I like Liverworst so it's a win-win.
