DH's 40th b-day, any ideas???

His b-day is the day after Kaitlyn's 5th b-day.  I would kind of like to have a big surprise party for him.  What type of venues would be good for this, or at home?  Any ideas would be great!!!  TIA

    My DH is turning 40 this Saturday!  He is pretty anti-social and would think I'm nuts for throwing him a party so we are going away for a night to Mohegan Sun (a casino about 1.5 hrs away).

    If I were to through a party, it might have been something low key like getting bunch of friends to meet us at this local bar or having a big bash with friends and family and rent a hall.

    We are invited to a 40th for a friend and it is at an Italian-American Club and will be a big bash with friends, family, food, music and karoke.
