I'm here, although I'm not on this board much- I'm on 6-12 more.  We are now where near potty training.  We might try this summer.  I'm in no rush, got enough on my plate and he has NO interest!

I'm a January 07 mom....DS has shown a lot of interest in the potty, I think because he sees his older sister using it, but when I put him on it he doesn't actually go. I don't think he's quite physically ready yet. His doctor recommended waiting until the summer when it's easier to take clothes on and off. So for now I just let him occasionally sit on the potty, but it's nothing serious. Potty training DD was a huge headache (she was finally trained just after she turned 3) so I'm not looking forward to doing it again!

We gave it a shot about a month ago because she really wanted to start wearing big girl underwear, but after about a week of accident after accident, I decided to go to pull-ups. She consistently goes about twice a day, some days more, some less, but she absolutely will only go if it is her idea (like I can't "suggest" that she go try to use the potty or do the timer thing or she freaks out and runs the other direction). 

After the first bout we had with it, my plan now is pretty much just wait until she takes the next step and starts staying dry longer and/or using the potty more on her own.

Still here!  DS is not ready yet.  We have tried sitting him on the potty and stuff, but he is just not ready yet.  Which is fine with us, no pushing on our part.  GL!!  :-)

She is not ready, and I'm not pushing it. She says she will use the potty in July (I think she overheard a convo I was having about it) so we are going to go with it

Still here.  A is not ready at all.  I'm not pushing it and I am not even going to try unless she is interested.  I'm guessing she might be interested around 3, but who knows.

After training C, I realize that it is truly up to them when they do it.  My encouraging her along only made it go longer it seemed and wasn't much fun.  I'm taking it much slower this time.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one!  Isabelle has no interest and I'm waiting until summer to bring it up.  She needs to be potty trained by Sept to start preschool so I'm hoping it will happen before that.

Jan 07 here....but I sooo need to PT my DS. He tells me he needs to pee & he HATES poopy diapers. He wont sit down if he has a poopy diaper. It's me being lazy not doing it yet. I'm hoping within a couple of weeks we will try. We will see how that goes.

Not even starting until late this summer.

He's so not ready. If he happens to pee in the tub or something, he looks completely surprised that it came from him, and he doesn't tell me when he's pooped.

He needs more time.
