This a family name on hubby's side...

Do you think this is a boy's name, girl's name, or either? 

I'm afraid it sounds too girly but don't want to offend him.

That spelling is more masculine than Riley. That being said, I wouldn't use it as a first name.

Reilly -- A boy's name, and I like it.

Riley/Rylee -- A girl's name that I do not like.

I have a female friend named Reilly.  And I have a male friend named Riley.  So, either one works, IMO.

I think nowadays, it is too girly for a first name, but nice as a middle name.

Its becoming more of a girls name to me. Reilly is a different spelling, Im not sure if I like it or not.

I think Reilly is a unisex name.  I do like the spelling that you have for a boy though.  It honestly goes for either boy or a girl.  We have a friend who has a 5-year-old boy named Riley.
