We're considering this as a middle name, but is it pronounced:
1. Taw-vish
2. Tay-vish
3. rhymes with Travis (with an h on the end)
I'd pronounce it like #3. Why do you want to use it if you don't even know how to pronounce it?
eta: not truly rhyming w/ Travis, but like the first syllable -Tav- ish. Like Lavish.
Not like any of your choices.
It is tav-ish. 'tav' is said like how you say the first syllable of tavern.
'ish' is said like fish minus the f.

Ditto?
Why would you use a name you can't pronounce? If you can't pronounce it and you're using it, where does that leave everyone else??
I'd go with...rhymes with Travis(h).

Like this. I had a friend growing up whose last name this was and this is how she pronounced it.

It's Irish for "Twin" and this baby is going to be an irish twin so i thought it was a cute idea.
I like the way it sounds as either Tavish (like tavern) and also like Tay-vish, but not so much Tawvish so I was just double-checking.

Just an fyi, according to IrishDictionary.ie, Tavish is not the Irish word for "twin". "Leathch?pla" is. Now that would be an interesting middle name.
this. and rhymes with lavish.
