How much do you pay for birthday cakes?

I made a birthday cake for a friend of mine this weekend.  Now, I have several people asking me if I could make them a cake...how much have you paid for a birthday cake.

the beach one you made?  That was awsome if you got that at a bakery it would be easily $75.  I have paid up to $80 for a cake

We get the half sheet cake which feeds 30ish people for $27.00.

A friend here at works makes cakes and I had her make ds 1st birthday cake, PIB. I believe I paid her 38.00. The cake was a 10" round that would feed approx 8 people. That cake you made was very cute!

That cake is really awesome!  I usually make my own so have no idea of a price but check around your local bakeries and see what they are charging for comparable.

umm that seems like a lot od damn work!

We pay for one of those sheet cakes, $60 for $45 people. Yours is way more extravagent.
