pediatrician recs

Does anyone have any pediatrician recommendations for the downtown or medical center area? I live south of san antonio in devine and am just overwhelmed with choices right now. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

In med center area...We love, love, LOVE Dr. Beck! ?He is ultra knowledgeable and really keeps up to date on all the latest stuff - with just a dash of good old fashioned medicine. ?My sister has been taking my niece there for years and she has two friends that are pediatric nurses that both take their kids to Dr. Beck. ?Also, not sure if you plan on breastfeeding, but he never once suggested that I supplement with formula when Sarah had jaundice (he just reassured us that even though the jaundice may linger longer with breastmilk only, she was just fine). ?He said his own son?experienced?nipple confusion - so he has been there, done that.Here is his bio:https://www.macgregormed.com/mmc/beck.shtmlMacGregor Medical is on Fredericksburg near Huebner (right behind USAA).

We take DS to San Antonio Pediatrics Assoc. downtown. I really like NP Hendricks there. She's really the only one I will see. I absolutely would not recommend Dr. Jorge Hernandez at that practice. He is horrible.

A little late on this one...

We LOVE Dr. Ferreris at Children's First Pediatrics (Med Center). Josh has had quite a few medical mishaps in his short existence and Dr. Ferreris has been so great about breaking things down for us. He's very personable and we love the environment at the office. There are three other doctors at this practice, so once when Dr. Ferreris was on vacation, we saw one of the other pedi's and she was great with Josh as well. My mother has even come to one or two appointments and she's always telling me how much she likes him! HTH!
