? about formula checks and giving them away...

I have a bunch of formula checks I would like to give away, but they have my full name printed on them. Will the store still accept them if I mark over my name?

I just mailed mine to someone else as it was. I didn't worry about the name.

Yes, you could give them away.  Stores accept them without checking names. Marking the names may not be a good idea.

I usually give mine to nesties I've seen around a lot and I know aren't too crazy. But really it's just your name. You introduce yourself to strangers. It's not like your ssn is on it. I just don't put a return address on the envelope if I'm worried about them coming to find me.
