ground turkey- 1 day past exp. date still use it?

i have some ground turkey that says use by may 2 and it's looking a little brown. i am going to make meatloaf with it would you still use it or should i make something else? thanks

If it is rotten, it would smell "off" when you cook it.  I would use it.
