This nickname is sticking in my head as my unborn child's name... even though I STILL don't know if it's a boy or girl!
Like with my son though (I only call him Sammy, his full name is Samuel just to make life easier for him later, eh) I think if it IS a girl, she'd probably appreciate a *real* name for later in life. Help with suggestions? Here's my list so far...
Alice (love this, husband does not lol), Aleta, Alison (do not like this), Alexandra, Alexandria, Alexis (husband has a cousin with this name, but who cares? I like it), Alexia... so far that's it.
Most of them I am OK with, only one I ADORE, but see my notes. ![]()

i like alice. baby name wizard lists althea, allegra, alessandra, albina, albany as some other names. personally, i think if you go with anything that "alex" is traditionally a nn for, she might end up going by that.
i also like ali for a boy.
Alistair! I think that can go for either boy or girl.
I love the Althea rec, that may be a hard sell to DH if he doesn't like Alice.
Alisa is also a great ida, or Alicia/Alysia
Alonzo for a boy
Alan or Allen
Alston
?
I'm an Alicia too, who has always gone by Ali.
I have never known another Ali, whose name was Alicia.
