I feel like our girls are so unhappy. it breaks my heart. all they do is cry. they don't smile. they sleep a lot. don't want anything to do with bouncy, swing, play mat. in adults, all that would equal depression. i know people say it will get easier, but seeing them so unhappy makes me feel like a bad mom.
Re: unhappy babies
Aw... don't beat yourself up! You have 34 weekers which means that if they were full term they would only be a few weeks old... I have 34 weekers too so I know how hard it is to deal with the "adjusted age" phenomenon but mine didn't really start smiling until almost 3 months (around 6 weeks adjusted) and they also cried unless they were being held and really only woke up, ate, and went back to sleep.
Once they get a little older they'll start "waking up" more and then they'll be more fun
If you're concerned about how much they're eating (or not eating) call your pedi.
