worth buying a moses basket for #2?

did not use one with #1, but thinking it might be nice to put dc 2 in it to take from room to room in the house or to keep with me while i am at work. not sure if i need it though as i do have a pnp, a swing, and the infant carrier from #1 sooo if its not something that will be super helpful i would rather not spend the extra money. also , if you had one and used it, how old was dc when no longer able to fit in there? tia!

I was thinking about this too, esp for the summer when I'll have them both outside playing. I'm leaning toward it b/c I think it will be easier (and cooler) than putting him in his carseat.

hmmm good point. maybe ill see if i can borrow one from a friend. i just hate to spend any money. it was so different with number 1!

I use a bassinet (a lot!) rather than a moses basket since I don't feel like I can put DD down that low on DS's level.  He's gentle with her, but the last thing I need is for him to be in her face sharing his fruit snacks with her.  I push the bassinet around to whatever room we happen to be in.  Otherwise, she's sleeps in her crib.  The pack n play is still set up in our room but I can count on one hand how many times we've put her in it.  Never really used it when DS was a baby either.

I wouldn't really use one with Ben.  He sleeps in the PNP in the living room, his carseat, or I have 2 bouncy seats stationed around the house.  If we go outside to play, I pop him in the sling and he snoozes in there.
