Where to make photo books / digital scrapbooks?

With his birthday approaching, I'm feeling inspired to start making some albums of Liam.  I've been lazy and not printed many of the 1000s of digital pix I've taken of him, nor have I done his baby book, so I'd like to use photos and info from my blog and make some photo books and/or digital scrapbooks.

What sites to you like?  I know of mypublisher.com, and then Snapfish/Shutterfly, etc.

  • I used mypublisher.com for our wedding books and they turned out great. ?I have also really slacked and not printed any of Scott's pictures. ?I need to get crackin' on his 1st year photo book. Yikes!

  • I was going to suggest MyPublisher (I had planned to use this to make a wedding album, although almost 2 years later, haven't gotten to it yet - lol!)  There's also Blurb - I have a friend who used this and got a nice book.  Also, Picaboo, Shutterfly, Snapfish, and Kodak make books too.
  • Have you checked out scrapblog? I think a lot of people really like that, but I have no experience with it.
  • I've used Photoworks.com for my wedding, honeymoon and Natalie's birth to 3 mo book.  I'm presently exploring Blurb and Scrapblog as other options.  Although I like Photoworks for my travel books (I like just black backgrounds for those), I don't really like the baby book background selections.

  • We use everything Mac, so I uploaded to the Mac website.  It was crazy easy.
  • I really liked Picaboo.
  • I made a photobook of our first year of marriage using Shutterfly, and I was really pleased with how it came out. The only thing that I don't like about Shutterfly's photobooks is that you have to use one of their templates for each page, and you can't really change around where the photos or text are. However, they have a lot of layouts so it wasn't a big deal.
  • I used shutterfly for Cam's 1 year photo book.  I posted the link the other day to it in a post I think Racey did.  I was very pleased with it.  They have a blue/pink book that works well for the first year.  I'm also behind on the baby book, but it was nice to get the 1 year book done.  I gave my mom one for Christmas and she really liked it.

  • I made Ashley's first year book on Shutterfly (the 12x12 scrapbook size). I really liked it and am using it again for her second year book.
