My mom's been helping us out a lot since DS#2 was born a few months ago, so I'd like to get her something nice, but I need some ideas to get me started here... anyone want to share their ideas??
We ordered flowers for MIL (tulips). For my mom, we're getting some sort of turtle-related jewelry. She's big into the Sea Turtles and volunteers every year to mark the nests and all that. Spends a ton of Saturday mornings out on the beach taking care of them. I found a perfect bracelet on esty the other day but waited on to order it too long and now it's gone. I've got to find something similar.
Does your mom have any hobbies? Love books? Wine? Etc? I've done the cook-your-own lobster dinners for a nice present for people. The fixings (including the pot often) get delivered to them on the day they pick and then they make it. Everyone loves that, but it's pretty pricey...very pricey.
I made a photo book at Shutterfly for both MIL and my Mom. Actually I had made it for us and just changed the cover for Mother's Day. Its of DS 12mths until now.
