We had our intake evaluation yesterday. It was a little weird because I work for EI I just don't usually see the little babies and I obviously will not be paid to service my own babies so a team came out yesterday. The boys qualify because of their early arrival, but they also qualified due to delays in gross motor. They said they are right on target for their adjusted age of 1 week, but below for their 10 weeks. I think it had to do with turning their head back and forth when on their bellies which they do, but not frequently, they didn't turn their heads to follow an object, and still don't have great head control. So a PT will be coming out to at least monitor them for the next 6 months. I'm actually not concerned at this point, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to have someone keep an eye on them. They were both really cranky as they are not used to being woken up, kept up, other than for eating, but overall it was a good visit.
