wow, all this because you didnt want to pick up the phone to call me and tell me you were in *town*. you really have changed *jelli*. well sorry to tell you this but dont bother sending her a card. she feels the same as i do. she was very hurt you couldnt call her and let her know you were in *town* as well. well, good luck to you.

i told her that's how she felt then that was fine and wished her luck as well.

so i guess that's that.

I will say that until I was 33 I wholeheartedly agreed with you that Girls Suck.

After 33 though, you seem to find girls that rock. There are still a bunch that completely embody the douchetastic model but they will for all of their lives unless therapy or medical intervention is attained.

That's pretty ridiculous and I'm sorry that you received such a response.  Ah, well.  If she's incapable of being a grown up about things, that's her problem, not yours.  I'd still probably send a card.  It's not like their world will crash down around their ears for it.

Sorry to hear she responded badly.  Perhaps one day she will wake up and realize that she let a great friend get away. 

I would still send her mom cards etc.  I guarantee her mother doesn't think badly of you.
