So today the bleeding continued, but it got so bad at work that I freaked out. I bled through a tampon in less than an hour, and when I went to take it out, there were clots all over my hand, and even on the floor. I panicked and told my boss I wanted to go to the ER, and she said it was no problem.
I got there roughly 45 minutes later, and they gave me an exam. The doc was super sweet, but they basically told me there was nothing wrong. They made me pee in a cup, took some blood, and let me sit and wait for about an hour. They said the bloodwork was all normal, and I'm not pregnant(No shiit), and that it was just some irregular mid-cycle bleeding(Really?)
They told me to drink lots of fluids, and take it easy. Also to call my doctor and see what she thinks. I get to pay a huge ER bill for a bunch of shiit I already knew. Great.
Re: Back from the ER...(super TMI)
I talked to my doc yesterday, and she just wants to go ahead with the cd21 testing, even though I am randomly bleeding. I called her office to let them know I was going to the ER, and they said they would pass the message along. Now I just have to call her in the morning and see if she wants to change the plan. I can't stand it anymore.
There was some seemingly crazy woman crying and babbling in the waiting room, and a baby came in, and she LOST it, talking about how she can't have a baby. It was weird, but it made me cry too.
I'm not a Dr. or anything, but I used to have spells like this when I was first diagnosed with endo. Just a thought???
GL with everything tomorrow! Keep us posted!

My Dr. suspected endo, and decided to do a laparascopy to confirm. Sure enough he was right. The good thing though is that during the lap, my Dr. excised the endo, and I haven't had any episodes like it since!

Well the laparascopy is basically just an exploratory surgery used for diagnostic purposes. You cannot see endo on an ultrasound which is why a lap is the only sure way to diagnose it.

Hmm...so what should I do? Tell my doc to check?

Well, I would just wait and see what she has to say first. But I would definately do some research, and if you think this is something you might have, I would definately bring it up to her and see what she thinks.

Sorry if you have covered this, but I had a ton of bleeding due to fibroids. There is just too much TMI on it, but intense bleeding with chunks was part of what I went through.
I was maybe 29 for my first surgery. It came back and I had another surgery. Took a bit over a year to get pregnant (I am awful at charting)-- but I have a 17 month old girl now.
It is scary and awful, but hopefully the symptoms look worse than the problem. Best of luck.
