What time to put for a Birthday BBQ?

What time would you start a Birthday BBQ on a Saturday?  It's for DD's 1 st bday. I have to send out invites tomorrow and giving my family 3 months notice as they would all have to know ahead of time because 100% of them live in other states.

    I would say 1pm is a good time. I have been to a lot of BBQ birthday parties and this time seems to work out great.

    I'd go for 3pm w/ the hopes that it'd go well into the evening (snacks till things are off the grill at 5pm). 

    But maybe that's the pre-parent in me talking. :)

    We are doing Lukes 1st birthday party at 3:30.  It is a baseball theme so the grilled food will be around 5 with the snacky type things right away.  Luke sleeps from 1230 till 330 almost everyday so we didnt want to mess taht up.
