Taking 8mo old to pool alone

Any suggestions on how to do this and what to use for them to float in?

I will have a helper most days, but there may be a few that I'd like to do it on my own.?

Thoughts??

Sorry, I'm not much help- our local pools require one adult per babt at that age.

I have seen baby carriers that you can wear in the water.  Would they be to big for that?

I would honestly skip the days you have to go alone. We went last summer, and they were squirmy and slippery even with a floater vest; there was no way I could safely take them by myself. It was my aunts pool we went to, so luckily someone was always there to help.
