I just ran out of Burt's Bee's shampoo and conditioner.  I am sad.  It smells heavenly.  I have a lot of thin curly hair.

Right now I am using pantene pro-v curly, but I hate it.  I have a bunch of shampoo in the cupboard I am trying to use up.  When they are all gone, I am going back to Burt's Bee's, or if I get pregnant I will go back.

Melaina, how long have you been using this shampoo? and does it make your hair greasy? full of body?

I have super fine, long, thin hair too.

I've been using it for over a year.  It is great for volume and leaves your hair light and not weighed down.  There is also a thickening spray that you get to spray on your roots for added volume.  Works great with a big round brush.

I use this conditioner every other day. It's wonderful.

I'm also using something minty for shampoo and conditioning on alternate days from Whole Foods, but I don't like it. I like the Trader Joes versions better.

edit: I have long, straight, fine hair

  • I use Burt's Bees shampoo. I gave up conditioner a few months ago and have had no ill effects. I have medium to fine hair, it is fairly straight but likes to frizz.
  • I use Matrix smoothing shampoo and conditioner.  I have med. thick wavy/curly/frizzy hair.  Today its purely frizzy because of the rain and humidity.  I can straighten it during non-humid times of the year, forget about it the rest of the time! Stick out tongue
  • I used to use Nexxus Humectant, but ever since BFP it makes my hair way too greasy.  Now I just use Pantene clean.  I have very thick, course, straight asian hair.
