i have about 6 or 7 different types of aveda shampoos that i alternate each time i wash my hair. if i don't, i get a sticky feeling on my scalp and the only that can make it go away is that drugstore mane 'n tail shampoo.

typically pantene 2 in 1 or the generic walmart version of this OR whatever my hairstylist neighbor gives to us for free. i have longish straight hair that lives in a ponytail.
Oooh I love the Aveda shampoo/conditioners! Right now I am just using Loreal glossy shampoo and a really nice Ojon conditioner - that my DH decided to use when he was out of shave gel. I had to yell at him that you don't use $22 conditioner to shave your face!
Oh and I have curly thick hair!

...it's sulfate free so it doesn't strip the color and the moisture is great from my curly hair that I torture with a flat iron just about every day. and it smells AMAZING!!! The shampoo smells rosemary and juniper and the conditioner smells like rosemary and mint...it's so soothing!
I just ran out of Burt's Bee's shampoo and conditioner. I am sad. It smells heavenly. I have a lot of thin curly hair.
Right now I am using pantene pro-v curly, but I hate it. I have a bunch of shampoo in the cupboard I am trying to use up. When they are all gone, I am going back to Burt's Bee's, or if I get pregnant I will go back.
I use treseme brunette and Kenra volumizing shampoo and conditioner. I would like to buy something else, but I bought the giant bottles of both kinds. My hair is straight/wavy and kind of thin

Melaina, how long have you been using this shampoo? and does it make your hair greasy? full of body?
I have super fine, long, thin hair too.
I've been using it for over a year. It is great for volume and leaves your hair light and not weighed down. There is also a thickening spray that you get to spray on your roots for added volume. Works great with a big round brush.

I use Burt's Bees shampoo. I gave up conditioner a few months ago and have had no ill effects. I have medium to fine hair, it is fairly straight but likes to frizz.
I use Matrix smoothing shampoo and conditioner. I have med. thick wavy/curly/frizzy hair. Today its purely frizzy because of the rain and humidity. I can straighten it during non-humid times of the year, forget about it the rest of the time!
I used to use Nexxus Humectant, but ever since BFP it makes my hair way too greasy. Now I just use Pantene clean. I have very thick, course, straight asian hair.
