    lorelai is so gilmore girls. no one ever had that name before the show. hence, i think it's odd to start using it now. but that's me.

    Lorelai is indeed very Gilmore Girls.  Heidi is very Swiss Alps - I just piture a real yodel fest of a kid with that one....Neither one is really my style. That said, they are just okay.

    ok, so I love the Gilmore Girls (own it) but that's not the first thing I think of when I hear Lorelai. I think of the Pogues song, which is an awesome, awesome song. (and came first)

    I like Heidi. I have an ancestor who was Adelheide (she emigrated from Germany) and she went by Heidi. But you could also go with Addie from that :-)

    I say pick one and go for it.

    I like both, but I would go with Lorelai. Very pretty- and was around long before Gilmore Girls. So what if it has gotten a little more popular since then? It's not like a Friends/Emma outbreak.
