I saw Beth's pictures and had to ask....how long has Sadie been standing up like that? Does she try to take steps?

When we play with Josh we try to get him to stand up and he always curls his legs into his chest as if to say "No mama,  I'm perfectly content with not using my legs!".

K - my Bff's baby girl was walking by 9-10 months!  But little Connor (Jenny and Erin's baby) just now started walking!  He turned 1 yr last week.  I've read that boys usually do things later than girls.  Time will tell!  BTW, James is turning out to be a giant!!!  He's 14lbs at 6 weeks.

9-12 months sounds about right but 4 months?! Wow!

Hehe, James is a little chunkster like Josh! That just means you're doing a great job at keeping him and healthy growing boy!

Ha, I just realized there are three babies on the boards with "J"names...Josh, James, and Jack!

Ha ha!  I like J names!  I even have a J name picked for if we ever have a girl!

4 months does sound really early!

I think someone sneaked steroids into my boobies!

She's been standing like that since around 3 months, but she doesn't try to take steps or act like she wants to walk.  Standing up seems to be her favorite position, she always stands on my lap and loves her exersaucer.  She really hates being on her tummy, though, so I wonder if she will crawl at all.  She's definitely wobbly so I think Beth just caught her at the right moment.  :)

Luci did the same thing at 3mo.  All she wanted to do was stand.  Now, I can't get her to sit on my lap.  It's all about standing.  I pray she crawls before she walks!

Butting in....KATE...14lbs...OMG...we went to the doc today to check out the whole nursing/thrust/ear infection/reflux thing...Bella weighs 9lbs 6oz...LOL...no where near 14lbs....would explain why James looks like a giant next to her!

Oh...and NOTHING is wrong with Isabella...so that means it's me or she is just being a stinker.  I go to the lactation specialist tomorrow morning...
