what is CD4?

I'm expecting AF today and I'm suppose to get CD3 bloodwork done.  I've read CD4 is ok too.  If I count today as CD1, Sunday would be CD4 but if I go by 24-hr periods, Monday would be CD4.  Which is it?

    I think the closest you can get in to the Dr. is the day you should go with...I think there won't be a huge downside to getting BW on cd4 vs. cd3. ?I've known of people getting it on cd5 w/o issues.

    If AF does infact show today, I would think Sunday because the first day of red flow is CD1 even if you start late in the day.  I would just call the doctor to schedule the blood work and ask them at that time which day would be more appropriate.

    If your doctor said to get cd3 blood work done, get cd3 b/w done.  Most labs have Saturday appts.  If today is cd1, Saturday would be cd3.
