Not much.  I havent been on too late lately.  Im completly wrapped up in the twilight series. Have you read them?  Hows hell paso?  No swine flu near you I hope.  My folks live in san antinio and they closed all the schools.  My dad felt bad for the kids because they got the week off and its raining.  Im sure if his kids were still in school he wouldnt feel sorry for us- he'd laugh

There was a ton of drama... *sigh*  I just ignore most of it but for some reason tonight hit a nerve.  Oh well.  If anything it provides for some entertainment.  I'm staying out of it now.

i'm not too worried about the pig flu.  we don't watch the news (on purpose) so i haven't heard much about it.  why did they give the kids a week off?  how does that stop the pig epidemic?

Stopping the spread?  Three kids in that school district caught it.  They didnt elaborate- the news isnt giving much info, just enough to scare people.  Luckily this crap never hits alaska

I quite enjoyed it.  I rarely get on FB but my sister just got her interent back and updated some things. 

So this is our first cycle TTC and DH just goes "sigh- so how do you want to have sex tonight?"  WTF was that about?  Hes tired and grumpy, I told him its no biggie if he doesnt want to tonight, but he said he does....

PS- I was really sad to see taht you started CD1, but we are cycle buddies (kinda)

yeah but if the kids have it and they are out of school they will be doing other things like going to the mall, skating rink, friends house, grocery store...etc.  so people would still catch it.  the only way that would work is if everyone stayed in their house and locked the door to keep out pig germs.  JMO.

I do PR and media relations for a public school district, and this whole swine flu thing has been a nightmare. They just found a case about 45 minutes from where I am, so everyone is freaking out and talking about having to shut the schools down for a week so the kids don't keep spreading it to each other. We had to send kids home with a semi-ridiculous letter about the importance of hand washing and covering sneezes today, and the next thing you know parents are calling to ask if the school is going to provide face masks to students while they are at school and if the FFA (Future Farmers of America) program will be shut down. I know people are dying, and that is scary, but some people watch a little news on TV and start jumping to extremes.

oh wow, do you enjoy your job?  it sounds interesting.  i'm sure this kind of thing is a pain in the ass for you.  well the reason we dont watch the news is because all they try to do is scare people.  they replay the same stories over and over and over again with no real updates.  so we become innundated (sp?) with these horrible stories and it begins to brew fear.  JMHO.

OH YES!! I forgot that this is finally your cycle to try! Woo hoo! Hopefully you and DH will kick it off with a bang, ha ha. Yeah, cycle 10 was a bust, unfortunately. I have kinda stayed away from here for the last week or so to recover a bit, like I tend to do at the beginning of every new cycle. On the bright side, yes we are pretty much right in sync! Maybe these damn unicorns will work for you and me this cycle like they have for so many others already!

Yep, it's interesting all right, ha ha. I enjoy it most of the time, but it can be really stressful and high pressure with this kind of stuff happens. We had a meningitis outbreak last year and had to shut a junior high school for three days for deep cleaning and offer vaccines to a couple thousand kids...that was insane. I like it better when things are nice and uneventful and I can bump at work intead of taking calls from frantic parents and vulture reporters, LOL...
