~~LSTaylor~~

I just popped on to see if you had posted an update on your little guys. Did they have their tubes adjusted? Are they feeling tons better? Man, I sure hope so!

Re: ~~LSTaylor~~

  • Hi!

Yes, we did have the tubes adjusted and I think they were feeling better almost immediately after the doctor (and her white coat) left the room.  They each have only thrown up once since the tubes were adjusted by over 2 centimeters around 1:30pm today.  And with their respective vomit sessions only Evan's had any volume and it wasn't that much.  They have been extreamly fussy tonight though and sleeping very lightly so I think they are still a little sore maybe.

I think their discomfort was like what it feels like to pass gallstones because it's right next to the gallbladder.  Since I had mine removed last year in October I know exactly how uncomfortable that is and feel horrible that I didn't make a bigger stink sooner.  The GI had squeezed us in for the 20 minutes it took to do the adjustment for both boys so we didn't have time to really get into it but I did let her know how upset we were.  Really, there's got to be a change in the medical system.  We're still working with her until we find a GI we like.

  • God, I can't believe they blew you off so long for something that took 20 stinkin minutes to fix. Infuriating.

I'm so glad to hear they're feeling better. I hope they wake up tomorrow as new little men, with no belly aches. And I hope you get to sleep some tonight :)
