random drawers and cabinets organized. Last night I noticed the tupperware was all neatly organized in the kitchen cabinet and this morning I realized that DS' onesies are all much tidier in his drawer. I wonder what other "Easter eggs" I will find.
I have a friend who, everytime her mother in law visited, she found her kitchen cupboards had all been rearranged, her decorative items were no longer on the shelves, and her husbands karate trophies were on them. This usually happened when her MIL stayed with the kids so she and her husband could get away for a night, or when she was on bedrest while pregnant with twins. Very annoying.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I know personally I would have a big problem with my MIL re-organizing my stuff.

I feel ya! When we first moved in together our MIL was coming over when we were at work (we had no idea she was doing this) until our stuff was ending up in different places. I thought Rob was doing it-he thought I was doing it. Then we figured it out when my MIL made a comment that her and her friend (that we don't know) stopped by to pee and she said she found a condom wrapper under our bed!!!!!
WTF are you doing in our house peeing and WTF are you doing under our bed. We changed our garage code, needless to say.
My friend's MIL had a habit of cleaning all of her closets/drawers because she said her house was "filthy." (it wasn't). She went so far as to clean out her lingerie drawer. My friend had sex toys and naked honeymoon pictures in there. That is going over the line...
At least it wasn't your underwear drawer! Yes, my MIL did that when she lived with DH and I. I almost had a heart attack. At least she's gone now! Bet that's a weight off of your back!

Seriously LMAO at the karate trophies.
And, EMT - I would like your MIL. I'm all about the organization. As long as she doesn't touch my lingerie drawers, send her my way! :-)
Re: MIL left yesterday and I'm finding
I am sure she thought that she was "helping."
Ditto.

My MIL did this when she was here. It drove me crazy. Of course mh kept saying that she was just trying to help etc.
Oh it does. But, it is not even in the top ten most annoying things she did this visit. So, I'm actually just laughing at this for some reason...
