What are you doing to stay Zen?  I am totally into doing yoga and some meditation, but would love to hear how you are staying sane!

  • Shoot... I'm probably not being PC by saying "zen" and you caught me.  But, just repeating that word to myself when I start getting stressed about something helps me.  I actually would like to do yoga, but I've been busy lately so I don't want to squeeze another thing in.  I do find time to exercise, though, and that certainly helps.  I only listen to jazz and classical in my car... what a difference to not have all the talking.  I never realized how wound up it got me.  I love my commute now.  And, I didn't temp at the beginning of my cycle.  I did it once just to make sure I had a high temp and had O'd.  But, it was way too low... that's how I know it was late.  So, now I'm kind of back to temping.  But, I am going to give that up again next cycle.  Finally, no coffee.  That's all I've got... sorry if it's not what you were looking for, but maybe something will give you an idea!

    Sorry it took me so long to respond to you, a gf of mine who I haven't talked to in literally 3 months called to catch up.  Thank you for the ideas, and I am glad you found listening to jazz and classical helps your commute.  I love listening to morning shows in the a.m., but find that turning off the radio on my way home from work helps quite a bit.  If you can find a day in your week to do yoga, I highly suggest it!  It clears the mind and has helped me come to terms with myself, it also relaxes you like nothing other.  Good luck with your TTC journey~I hope to talk to you again soon.  Again, sorry it took me so long to get back to you!
