Please tell me that washable markers are not toxic.

I just caught DD2 sucking on a washable marker. Her entire mouth/face area is orange! It does NOT say non-toxic on the marker and I don't have the package it came in. WDYT?

call poison control if you are concerned, but my guess is they are non toxic..most things made for kids that may get put in a mouth ARE non-toxic from what I've seen.

is it crayola? ?because i can't imagine any crayola product not being non-toxic.

I went ahead and called poison control. They are non-toxic. I thought they would be, but I just wanted to be safe.

Done that a few times now.  They're non-toxic.  I walk away when the girls are coloring to go the bathroom or throw on a load of wash or whatever.  Come back to DD#2 covered in blue...including her tongue, teeth, etc.  Crayons aren't any better b/c she chews on them when she's teething, but she colors nicely whenever I'm watching.
