I am not really any of those options. I am displeased that it's already been confirmed within 2 miles of us and is in our school dictrict (add to that Natalie had a high fever last night). But I did send Owen to school today and I am thinking she probably does just have your garden variety influenza. But I can't say it being so close doesn't bother me.

I picked the middle option, cause it was closest to what I think.

I plan on going out and buying some canned goods and stuff from the store to have on hand in case things start to get really bad and they force quarantines and such. But until then, all I plan on doing is keeping my kids away from large groups of people (ie-stores,  malls, playgrounds) and being extra vigilant on hand washing and such.

I joke about SARS masks and never leaving the house, but I think that would just be crazy. I chose option 2. If the CDC or some such organization starts recommending that people don't leave their houses, then maybe I'll change my mind, but for now it's business as usual (apart from extra hand-washing and staying away from huge groups of people in enclosed areas).
