Wanted to let you know I finished my crochet project and get to move on to another one..I always have one crochet project and one knit project going on at the same time (keeps me from getting bored due to my self diagnosed ADD) . But anyway, I figured you can understand better than DH the beauty and excitement of finishing a project and being able to start a new one!

I have knitted socks... I have good patterns.  My mom is an expert... she give lessons.  If I can't help.. she can.  She is making me a sock right now that is super cool...:)

We have some wonderful speciality shops in Indianapolis... and one in Central Illinois where my sister lives (it is in Morton).  I also buy some yarn and JoAnn Fabrics in a pinch.

Where in Morton? We don't have much. That sounds like the closest here. I got Micheal's and JoAnns because that is in Peoria ( closest big town). There is a specialty shop in Galena that I love..I could graze in there all day. My prob with socks is switching over to dpn's after casting on....Maybe my cast on method isn't correct? They just don't want to move...

It is called Ewe-nique.  It is in the same strip mall as the Morton Cinema.  They are really nice and have a great selection.  It isn't quite as nice as the ones in Indy, but they have good selection and are affordable.
