O & OPK Question.

What's the point of an OPK if you know when you O?  DH wants me to use an OPK again this month but I've NEVER O'd on any other day than Day 11 or 12.  I think I'll save our money and just fake OPK results.  It's pointless right?

if you know, you know. I think guys don't understand how well we know our bodies (charts, tests, whatever else)-- and sometimes need hard evidence.

For me it wasn't pointless.  Then again, I don't always O on the same day.  If I did O the same time every month I probably wouldn't use OPK's.

If you know when you O (I am assinging you know by temps and it is consistent), then there's no need for an OPK IMO.

How many cycles have you been charting?

If you're sure, you're sure. I personally would probably do the OPKs anyway just to make DH feel included, but that's just my thang.

Yeah, I have 9 charts that show O on day 11 or 12.  I am so regular, you set a clock by my 24 day cycle.  Maybe he think I'm guessing and needs proof?

Have you tried involving DH in your charting? My DH loves to look at my chart with me and overanalyze.

If he doesn't believe or understand the science behind charting, maybe you should just amuse him by doing it one month.  It will cost less than $20 and could make him feel more reassured...

I bought the tests so I'm going to do it just to make him happy.  He is a business analyst so he sees this as a business plan.  he needs concrete proof and he can come up with a plan once he gathers all the figures.  I said that's fine, I'm just here for the sex.
