when you make lunch for your kids

does everyone eat the same lunch?

I am a short-order lunch cook. ?Today, J is having ravioli and green beans, H is having a PB and banana sandwich, and I am having tuna salad. ?I was thinking it would be easier if we all ate the same thing but harder b/c we don't all always like the same thing. ?

What do you do??

Lunch is the only meal where we all eat whatever we want.  I don't mind if Logan wants something different than DH or I at lunch time.  He usually eats speghetti o's, applesauce and animal crackers for lunch while DH and I will have turkey sandwiches.

Usually my 2 and 5 y/o have the same lunch and my 8 y/o and I have the same lunch.

neither DH nor I ever want to be a short order cook... we make one thing for dinner/lunch - and thats what DS eats. Unless we know it's something he really doesn't like - if he's hungry, he'll eat.  This was how we were raised- and we plan to do the same. (there were 4 kids in my family and 6 in Dh's- there is no way our moms could make separate meals for everyone... and no reason why they should have)

We all eat the same thing.  That being said, we only have to do this on the weekends since I work FT.  I am sure it's easier when you only have to worry about it 2 days/week.  Dinners are the same way.

Well, right now, DS has babyfood.  But, DD has whatever she wants.  I really only share if it is something like mac 'n cheese.  She usually has a sandwich and veggies.  I usually have leftovers.

Right now Julia and I usually have separate things because I eat my lunch while she's napping.  It's the one meal a day I don't have to share with her lol!  Once #2 is eating lunch, I'll probably make the two kids the same thing which is what I do when my neighbor's son is over for lunch, but I'm not sure yet.
