washed brand new shorts form Gymboree and

The ribbon on the pockets are now comming apart.  I did what the tag said for washing.  I bought them at the end of summer last year (the tag has 2007 on it).  I tossed the sales tag last week so I no longer have that plus im out of the return time.  Anything that I can do.  I have never had this happen with clothes from them.  Im sure they are not more then a few bucks now anyway but they were super cute.

I would bring them back to the store without a receipt.  I have done that with damaged items at Gap and they always stood behind their product and took it back for me and gave me store credit.  I' sure Gymboree would also stand behind their product.
