Lane Bryant strikes again

OK, I'm ticked now. Please tell me if I am overreacting. I got this e-mail this morning:

We're writing to let you know we received your merchandise return and are processing your refund.
Your return confirmation number is XXXXX and your refund amount will total $7.01.
Please note shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable. Please allow three to five business days for this adjustment to be made to your credit card account. It may take up to two billing cycles for the change to be reflected in your card's billing statement.

Ummmm, not refundable? As if it were my choice to have the items returned? I paid for expedited shipping so I am out 15 extra bucks. It was one thing to return the items and give the money back--no harm, no foul. But now I am paying for their mistake??! I am calling customer service. Any ideas what I should say?

  • i called and they are refunding all of my money.  i would ask to speak with a manager.  that is not right.

  • From everything I have heard, you just have to give them a call, and they will refund the shipping because they cancelled the order.  Good luck!
