I posted this on my local as well...
So, she was never STTN every night, but almost since the beginning, she has been a great sleeper. At one point she was sleeping for 7-8 hour stretches, and only getting up once to eat. For the last few nights she has been getting up three times; around 1am, 3am, and 5am. I am exhausted!! Maybe it's a growth spurt? I'm worried that she's at the age where she's forming habits, and I certainly don't want this to become one.
Do you think it's the 4 month wakeful period a few weeks early? Has anyone else gone through this around 13-14 weeks? Please HELP!
I am in awe of you working moms who go through this, by the way. I couldn't imagine having to teach a classroom full of kids on 3 hours of sleep! I can barely function today.
Re: Help! DD up all night long at 14 weeks!
I've been feeling the same way. My dd is a big girl though, and I shouldn't complain because she was sttn at 6ish weeks. Last week during a heat wave it all went out the window. One night she was up from 1am until 5am, which kicked my butt so so so hard! She was off for a week. The last 2-3 nights seem to be back on track, not as good as before, but certainly better then the past week.
I don't know if your dd eats when she wakes up at night, but since our dd makes it through the night, and has for a while now, she told me to just rock & soothe her back to sleep without feeding if possible so she doesn't expect that meal every night. She was almost 15 lbs at 2 mo, so she's just fine eating wise. That seemed to help. She'll fall back asleep without much fussing within 10ish min.
I'm going to check back to see the responses!
Good luck!
