I am so excited to be on the TTC bandwagon again!  It has been the longest six months of my life!!  As soon as AF packs her bags we are back in buisness!  So I might not be on as much as I usually am for a while

How are you doing?  You started your new (old) job this week, right?  How is it going?  Glad to be back in peds?

I am doing great - testing on Friday and Saturday. I am so happy to be back to peds - I start in the ER tomorrow after having paperwork all week so far.

Testing fri/sat?  GOOD LUCK   Im not very famillar with clomid, whats an HGC trigger do, and when do you take it?

Yes I am testing Fri and having betas Saturday regardless of my HPT...

So Clomid stimulates ovulation and you take it CD 5-9, then you have u/s to check how big the follies in your ovaries are - when they are good size (usually over 18) you get the HCG trigger shot which ensures that you release the eggs instead of waiting on you to ovulate on your own - so it is also easier to time FWP since it releases 24-48 hours after the shot...now I am on progesterone since 2 DPO to help with my lining...

So since you had HGC injected can that give you a false positive hpt?  Thats why they would need betas to see if its going up, right?

Right - Tonya G had one and tested positive at 10dpo - the trigger should be out 7 days after injection and all my OPK's are neg now so I know it is out but you have to have the betas just to make sure since there is a small possibility it could be a false positive.

You are so cute - I got alot of info from google - It is definitely a process for sure but my ovaries are so lazy they dont work on their own.

Would you like me to lecture your ovaries, or have you tried that?  Probably, since you are on clomid.  Did you get the clomid crazies?

Haha I have lectured my ovaries but please feel free to take a turn...PCOS sucks. I did not get the crazies - just had a little insomnia but I have been fine.

I will be on to update - what I'll do is test Fri and Sat AM then when I get updated with betas I'll text Cathy or Melissa and they can update because I will be in Boston Sat. afternoon/night for my BFF"s bachelorette party...I hope to be celebrating with shirley temples!
