What do you guys think? Should I not worry or pursue further? A few weeks ago I went and saw my OB/GYN and Endo. (I am hypothyroid). Thyroid labs came back and revealed that my Synthroid needs to be lowered because I am over medicated and hyperthyroid. They also ran my LH, FSH, Prolactin, Progesterone. All were within the normal lab range. The only thing that seemed off was my LH:FSH ratio it was 4:1. I have read that a ratio of 1:1 is the most optimal and anything over that could signify PCOS.
Both doctors feel that my labs are normal except the TSH (which they are adjusting the meds). Maybe I am just being paranoid about the LH:FSH ratio, but I am on cycle day 52 (I am charting and using OPKs) with no ovulation in sight. My cycles have never been regular until I went on the pill, which I did just get off after being on for 7 years. I know that having thyroid issues and just getting off BCP can cause wacky cycles, but the last thing I want is something else going on like PCOS and not catching it for a while. Advice is appreciated!
