Would you use OPK this month?

I had a procedure (lithotripsy) to break up some kidney stones with shock waves.  It seems to have been successful.

My thought though is that when you have procedures done on your body, stress is put on the body and could affect your ovulation cycle.  Should I try using the OPK this month or forgo it as I may not cycle normally?

This was supposed to be the first month of trying.  Should I just try to be sexually active during the calculated time instead?

I am torn as to which way to go.

Personally, I think stress is overrated.  If you're over 35 and you're ready to TTC, start this month.  Once I got the hang of OPK's I started testing the day after noticing an increase in CM.  I ususlly get a (+) within 2-3 days after.

I'd say go for it with cheapie OPKs.  You can order them online for way less than in stores.   Are you just using OPKs or charting CM and BBT too?  If it's the latter then you can start your OPKs when you get some fertile CM.  GL!

I defintiely agree with the cheapies.  Start POAS and don't look back!  GL!
